This one-day program is designed for the CEBS graduate or career benefits professional interested in emerging trends in benefits. Session topics include:

  • Benefits for a Globally Mobile Workforce - Danielle Turner (Cigna Global Health)
  • Cybersecurity Risk and Employee Benefit Plans - Rachel Rose, JD, MBA (Rachel V. Rose, PLLC)
  • Common 401(k) Plan Errors - Sadie Hooker (Nova 401(k) Associates) and Drake Sacks, (Oppenheimer)
  • Student Loan Assistance and Tuition Reimbursement Benefits - John Eshleman, CEBS, SPHR (Memorial Hermann Health System)
  • Fertility Treatment and Maternity Care Benefits - Jamie Thomas (Ovia Health)
  • Travel Assistance Plans - Bill Devany, CEBS, RHU (Cigna)


There will be time during each session for discussion and questions. The program will represent 6 CEBS Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits. Three sessions have also been approved for Texas Department of Insurance (TDI) Group I continuing education credit. Continental breakfast and a three-course lunch are included.

Non-members: $100

Pre-registration and pre-payment are preferred. Cancellations may be made with a full refund up to 5 business days prior to the workshop. Individuals who register and neither cancel nor attend are not eligible for refund or rescheduling. Substitutions may be made.
